Who we are
MentionTide (“we”, “us”) provides AI search visibility audits. This policy explains how we handle personal information submitted through this website. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) where they apply to us.
What we collect
- When you request a free audit: your business website, work email and, if you choose, business name, industry and a competitor.
- When you join the founding customer waitlist: your work email and, optionally, your company name.
- If analytics is enabled: aggregate, cookieless usage statistics (such as page views and button clicks). We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
How we use it
- To prepare and send the audit you requested, and to contact you about it.
- To send updates about the founding customer pilot, if you joined the waitlist.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
Service providers
Form submissions are stored in a Google Sheet in our Google account (Google LLC), which may store data outside Australia, including in the United States. Access is restricted to the people who prepare your audit. If analytics is enabled, it is provided by a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service. These providers only process data to deliver their service to us.
Retention and security
We keep submissions only as long as needed for the purposes above, and delete them on request. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing boss@aiproject.biz. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
